We used the Taynton codlin apples which are a rare variety from Gloucestershire believed to be created for use in mincemeat.
Ingredients: apple, raisins, currants, sultanas, sugar, vegetable suet, lemon, orange, almonds, mixed spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, brandy

from 2 reviewsI tried this with a venison fillet and it worked very well. The Golden Jelly is sweet but not too sweet with a fragrance a bit like honey. I t was so much better than the usual shop redcurrant jelly!

I have bought this ketchup twice now, and for a reason. It's so delicious, I've had it at lunch and dinner, I loved it with fried chicken. A nice detail is how the flavour develops over time, it gets slightly spicier, but as someone who's bad with spice I can say it's not too spicy. I definitely recommend
