Welcome the Quail

These tiny little birds have arrived at the farm and we are so excited!

They are settling in well and enjoy zooming around and getting head pets. Luckily for me I've discovered they very much enjoy the weeds that grow in the greenhouse and get very chirpy when I send a fresh batch. 

I've always wanted quail and I have to say they are the sweetest little birds. We even had the addition of one little chicken which we named Ingrid. This little chicken was so determined to live as a quail that of course we welcomed it into the pen.
