New Arrivals on the Way!

We’re beyond excited here at Cromer Farm as we prepare to welcome a new batch of chicks—quail, bantams, and even some majestic Brahmas!
After a dedicated search across small hatcheries, eBay, and a few generous friends and family members, I’ve gathered a carefully chosen clutch of eggs ready for hatching. Among them are some particularly special celadon quail eggs, known for their beautiful blue shells, alongside some classic quail varieties. The quail should be the first to arrive, with just a 17-day incubation period.
In the meantime, the incubator has been placed under the watchful eyes of my two little farm assistants—my 6- and 3-year-old nieces—who were thrilled to take on such an important job.
Now, we wait… and dream of tiny feet and fluffy feathers.
