Lambing Season Wrap-Up: Meet Button
Share
Lambing season has officially wrapped here at Cromer Farm, and we couldn't have asked for a better one. All the lambs have arrived safely and are already bouncing around the sunny fields, full of energy and curiosity.
The weather has been nothing short of glorious this year—dry, bright, and just warm enough—so most of the lambs were able to head straight back out to pasture after their first checks. It's such a joy to see them skipping alongside their mums with the spring sunshine on their backs and the grass under their tiny hooves.
One little lamb has completely stolen our hearts: meet Button. This sweet soul was named for his perfect little face and ridiculously cute demeanor. He’s been keeping his mum Doris very busy, bounding around the field like a woolly rocket. Button’s favourite pastime so far? Launching himself into the air for no reason at all—classic lamb behaviour, and endlessly entertaining to watch.
With the fields full of bleats, bouncing legs, and the occasional snoozy lamb pile, it's hard not to smile every time we look outside. Lambing may be exhausting, but moments like these make it all so worth it.
Stay tuned for more updates from the field—and more photos of Button, obviously.
