Four Weeks Old & Ready for the Big Outdoors!
Share
Our baby quail are growing so fast! At just four weeks old, they’ve transformed from tiny puffballs into fluffy, feathered mini-adults. It’s hard to believe these confident little birds were wobbling around under heat lamps just a few weeks ago.
Now, with their full feathers in and plenty of confidence, they’ve officially moved outside! They’re loving the fresh air, exploring every corner of their new space with curiosity and surprising speed. Quail may be small, but they’ve got big personalities—and very strong opinions about who gets the best dust bathing spot.
It’s been such a joy watching them grow, and we’re already seeing signs of their adult plumage and early pecking orders forming. The celadon quail are still standing out with their sleek coloring—and fingers crossed, we might see our first tiny blue eggs in just a few more weeks!
Stay tuned—next time we might be talking about our first quail egg breakfast!
